Allie Talavera is a Southern California-based playwright, production coordinator, and educator dedicated to the intersection of storytelling and technical craft.

With a Bachelor of Arts from Marymount Manhattan College and an MFA in Writing for the Performing Arts from the University of California, Riverside, Allie’s work explores the complex themes of sexuality, gender, and religion. Her background as the former Managing Editor of The Coachella Review informs her disciplined approach to both script development and curriculum design.

Whether she is managing high-scale productions at the Fox Theater, teaching the next generation of artists at Chaffey college, or finalizing her theater teaching credential, Allie’s mission remains the same: to create and facilitate theater that is as intellectually rigorous as it is emotionally resonant.
